With our quintet Centerpiece we joined the festival for five days. The repertoire at the "center of jazz" with swing and bebop of the 40/50ies was well received by the audience. They liked our arrangements of musical pearls of this era, played with drive and high energy. The sweat was running on all outside stages, but we had a lot of fun together. This festival is one of the nicest in all of Europe.

Jan Luley Trio - successful debut concert
The first performance with the trio (Jan Luley - piano,vocals, Tobias Schirmer - drums, L.H. - bass) in Frankfurt showed that Jan´s  program "piano Tales" is very entertaining. The fun of improvisation and first of all energy and feeling of drummer Allen Blairman is the main impact on this trio. The programm includes standards as well as Latin Classics and Pop Tunes. Taking all the freedom they want, there is always a good groove, no matter what they play.
